There may be a time where you need access platforms erected in a rush. We offer a 24hour emergency call out service across West Sussex, for fire damage, unsecure structures, loose debris or tiles or even damaged shop signage. Whatever your emergency needs our team of scaffolding erectors will be there the same day.
We do not like to blow our own trumpet, but we believe we are the best and most experienced firm at what we do, all our scaffolders are fully qualified, and health and safety trained to the latest standards and not only that, but our scaffolding company offers all our customers the following as standard when erecting scaffolds:
In the hustle and bustle of Chichester and West Sussex no tube and fittings structure we erect is the same, and therefore we offer an extensive list of scaffold services. Below are just some examples of scaffolds that our scaffolders can put up:
Our scaffolders can erect any different types of roofing scaffolds you may need, we provide access for roof repair works, replacing tiles or if a property needs a re-roof.
We also provide scaffold platforms for internal and external use for painting and decoration works. In the past we have erected scaffold towers to access high ceilings inside or full scaffolds for painting outside.
If you need a building’s roof or a new build structure to be covered and weather proofed, then our expert temporary roof scaffolds could be exactly what you require.
If you have a standard new build, or timber frame project or extension that requires scaffolding hire then our scaffolders will erect this safely for you and ensure we keep to your project’s timescales.
Maintenance and repairs to the external walls of your building will require safe, secure scaffold platforms which we can erect. We provide competitive prices on all our render and repointing scaffolds.
If you require access to or around your chimney for repairs or removal, then our scaffolding company offers a chimney platform service with 4 weeks hire included in the price.
Our scaffolding erectors can provide solar panel customers with safe working platforms along with additional rope and wheel pulley to get your materials up fast and efficiently.
No matter what height the windows you need to access are, our professional scaffolders will have a solution to suit, so you can complete your window installation or repairs safely.
You would need to use scaffolds to access those hard-to-reach areas when a ladder or a mobile tower cannot. Using our platforms which are fully handrailed will provide you with extra safety and a larger area to move around on when working, this in turn will help you complete your project quicker and guarantee there are no accidents or falls from height.
This all depends on the type of structure you require, however included within all our scaffolding hire quotes as standard is a 28 day hire period. If you feel you are going to require a longer hire, then please do let our team know as we are always happy to negotiate this within our price. However, if you do go over the agreed hire period and need the scaffolding to stay up longer, then our usual weekly hire price is 10% of the total value, but this can on occasion be negotiated.
Scaffolds can vary quite a lot in price and not all the scaffolds we erect follow a specific standard pricing structure. To be able to give you an honest and competitive quotation we would require the following information:
Once we have gathered all this information, then we will then be able to provide you with a price over the telephone or for more complex scaffolds we may need to request a free site visit beforehand.
Some projects can be priced by sending across a picture of the area which is always helpful for us when pricing jobs.
*We do have a minimum charge which is £350*
Timescales can vary a lot, as a simple access tower can take our scaffolders only a few hours but something more complex like a temporary roof or a high-rise building can take days and even weeks. Our timescales are dependent on the size of the scaffolding structure and how high it would need erecting, as obviously the higher the structure goes the longer it takes, and this is because our scaffolding erectors must pump the equipment up manually to each level one tube or board at a time. We will always provide you with timescales when submitting our quotation for review.
If you have an area that is within the boundary of your property then no you would not require a pavement or highways licence to have scaffolding erected to your property, however if this is not the case and the scaffolds have to go on a public area (roadside or pavement) then we would need to apply for a licence for you from your local council. Fees for the licence are included within our scaffolding hire prices.
This is not a service we offer, and we would strongly recommend you do not do this EVER. As this type of work is extremely complex and only fully qualified and trained scaffolders should ever erect any type of scaffolding platform to work from. There are a lot of health and safety aspects that need to be taken into consideration along with ensuring you use the correct equipment to take any loads that maybe placed onto the platforms. It will also save you so much more time, money, and hassle if you let a professional scaffolding company erect and dismantle it for you. You should never attempt to erect or dismantle any scaffolding structure yourself as it most certainly does not pay to cut corners in the construction industry.
If you would like us to provide you with a quotation then the first thing you need to do is to contact one of our team members. We can be contacted in many ways including email, telephone or by our website contact form. Whatever method you prefer you will be able to speak with a qualified estimator who will assist you with the best solution for your project.
Below we have listed our process, once you confirm you would like to work with our firm:
1. We will book you in at a time and date to suit you.
2. Our team of scaffolders will arrive on the date agreed and on time to start erecting the structure. Depending on the size and type it may take more than one day to put up.
3. Once our team has put up the scaffold for you and signed it off, you will be able to complete your works freely for the agreed hire period. If you are delayed or you feel you will exceed your hire period, then please do get in touch, and let us know so we can work out an arrangement for the extended time. However, 95% of the time four to eight weeks is long enough to complete most building or refurbishment projects.
4. Once you have completed your works, please contact us and our office team will arrange a convenient date and time to dismantle the scaffolding.
If you want to work with a scaffolding company that not only builds secure and safe scaffold structures but is also known across West Sussex as the go-to firm for reliability and punctuality, then please contact us via our contact form, email or telephone number and we will aim to get a competitive price back to you within the hour when possible.
